Bourke Racecourse “parkrun” is almost here!

The event is launching 8am Saturday October 27th at by the Healthy Towns Challenge Committee at the Bourke Racecourse.

parkrun is a weekly 5km timed event, that encourages everyone in the community to participate, either by walking or running the course, or through volunteering.

The committee was formed to oversee use of the Healthy Towns Challenge funding, awarded to RaRMS in 2017.

The challenge is a government initiative aiming to improve the health of communities by creating a more supportive environment for positive health change.
