The historic Bourke Police Station will get a multi-million dollar facelift with funding from the state government.

Central North Police District Superintendent Greg Moore has welcomed the funding and the promise of new facilities for the station.
“It’s important to preserve the heritage and maintain the traditional character of the building and the important link it has to the past,” he said.
