Swimming carnival a huge success
The Bourke Amateur Swimming Club held its Annual Club Qualifying Swimming Carnival for the first time in three years and organisers say the event was a spectacular success.
Club President Dwayne Willoughby said there were many excellent swims from all the competitors visiting from towns around the region, with many personal best times broken.
“We’d like to thank our hard-working committee and band of volunteers who went non-stop, in the lead up to the event, and all over our weekend, to ensure our carnival was the raging success it turned out to be,” Dwayne said.
