Bourke High School welcomes children’s service

A collaboration between Bourke High School and Bourke & District Children’s Services is not only thriving but promises to evolve faster than the children it serves.
One Tuesday every fortnight Bourke High School hosts a BCDS mobile session, drawing families with children aged 0-5 years into the school environment.
“This week, we witnessed the dedication of 24 Bourke High School volunteers running a range of play-based activities for the children,” said Anna McCorkle, who is a driving force behind the initiative along with Amanda Bell, Lilly Hand, and the entire BDCS team. {…]
