Golf — Bourke Pro-Am Draws big field

The annual Bourke Pro-Am golf tournament was a huge success at the weekend with a strong turnout of keen golfers ready to take on the challenge of the fairways.

David Wright was named the Pro winner of the event with youngster Isaac Ford proving he is a likely contender for the future as this year’s Stableford winner.

Lochy Ford upheld the family name taking out the Local Net title. For the ladies, Colleen Coaker took out the Sunday title with Melanie Driscoll a worthy runner up.

The event was a welcome return to one of Bourke’s most popular sporting events with next year’s competition already on the 2022 calendar.
