Lightning Ridge Central School Principal, Richard Finter made a point of congratulating his students on their achievements at the school’s Presentation Day last Wednesday.
“Each school presentation ceremony marks a milestone for each person, but for the students in the school’s care, it is more significant,” Mr Finter said.
“It involves transition and change from one year group to the next, and change and transition are not easy, but it is a fact of life, so I ask the students to embrace the change as they move from one year to the next.
“As another years closes, I would ask students to embrace the challenge because life is about change, and it is also about resilience and meeting life challenges and celebrating success,” he said.
“And as students move through their school and post-school life, I encourage them to be strong, and resilient and use all the resources, individual and family, to connect, thrive and succeed.
