Eight beautiful Bourke babies and toddlers were ‘Welcomed to Country’ at a traditional ceremony held at Diggers on the Darling last week.

Local Ngemba woman Dot Martin welcomed the babies to country with Bruce Shillingsworth on the didgeridoo and dancers Dane Edwards and Bruce Craig Shillingsworth opening the ceremony with corroboree.
